I would not support the Republican Party. There's no chance I would support the Republican Party. I might could support the Democratic Party. I don't know what I'm going to do. But at this point, you know, how could you support how could I or any American voter support a political party that's not loyal to the United States? >> Wow, there That's Tucker Carlson leaving the Republican Party today. Uh, but he's not the only one. And another giant figure joined on right afterwards and Anna tells us about it. >> Well, there is another giant figure who has uh vocally announced that she will no longer be part of the Republican Party, but I'm going to keep teasing you with that uh and show you a little more of what Tucker had to say first because um it is informative in regard to what is convincing Americans across the political spectrum to abandon their previously preferred political parties. More from Tucker. >> How could I or any American voter support a political party that's not loyal to the United States? That puts the interest of a foreign country above those of its own citizens. Like I That's That's you know, it's not possible to vote for people like that and I'm not going to and I think I voted Republican my entire life. I worked at Fox News, I've CNN, MSNBC. I I've been a a consistent defender for 35 years of the Republican Party. I mean, very consistent defender. But there's no defending this because it's immoral and it's exactly the opposite of what a political party in a democracy is charged with doing, which is representing its own voters, its own citizens, its own nation and they're not doing that. So, no, I'm out. And if I'm out, then I think a lot of other people are out. >> I don't think he's wrong about that. Uh in fact, uh soon after that was announced, Marjorie Taylor Greene posted the following. Tucker's not the only one who is done supporting the Republican Party. There is a lot of us that are absolutely fed up and will not support a party that betrays its voters and country. That does not mean we are turning into Democrats either, but we are done with the America last Republican Party. So, I can't tell you guys how much that resonates with me, but in the opposite direction, right? So, under Biden and after witnessing what the Democratic Party was willing to aid and abet in Gaza, I can't support that party. And honestly, the Biden administration is representative of the mainstream Democratic Party. So, I'm not a registered Democrat. I'm now a registered independent, and a lot of people make the mistake of thinking, "Oh, well, if you don't support the Democrats, that must mean that you're a secret Republican." No, I loathe the Republican Party as well, big time. And so, the largest voting block at this point in this country registered independents. People hate both parties. They are both corrupted. They are both both bought, and they don't represent us. >> So, God, this game is so rigged because you could tell based on what mainstream media does, right? So, we told you 100 times if you know, they'll disagree on cultural war issues meant to divide us, but the minute their donor wants something like don't do a student debt relief, don't do higher minimum wage, don't do a public option, uh >> Don't enforce anti-trust laws. You know, stuff that hurts the American people, but helps the moneyed interests, the corporate world, and pushes us toward terrible foreign policy. >> And of course, if Israel wants something, and they're a giant donor class. All of a sudden, all the cable news guys unite, and they're all on the same page, and we've shown you that repeatedly here, including today, as of today, pushing out message after message. So, in this case, we have all of them, of course, attacking Marjorie Taylor Greene and Tucker Carlson, but they all but what's interesting in what Anna said is and it made me realize something right now in the middle of the show. So, we've been telling you that independents are the largest voting block now for a long time, right? But, you never hear that on cable news or in mainstream media. >> Mhm. >> And in fact, they only talk about Republicans and Democrats, and if anyone ever disagrees with the leadership of either side, they go, "You're disloyal. You're disloyal to your own party." >> Yes. >> And so, they they go, "No, you have to be a Republican or a Democrat." >> Yes. >> And if they ever talk about independents, which is super weird that they're not talking about the largest voting block in the country ever, the only time they talk about them is to disparage them. Low-information >> Yes. Yes, Jake. >> They don't really know what they're doing. >> And look, back in the day, back, back, back in the day, maybe there was some truth to the idea that registered independent voters are low-information voters, but that's not the case right now. If anything, the reason why it has become the largest voting block is because they have first-hand knowledge and experience of getting screwed by their party, which they previously preferred. And and Jake, you make such a great point about the push for loyalty to a political party or politicians within that party, because what that does is it kind of perverts the entire democratic process we're supposed to have, where people literally volunteer and run for public office because they allegedly want to be public servants, but then they get voted into office, and it feels like we're supposed to be their servants, essentially providing cover for their bad behavior, for their failures, for their um refusal to actually make good on their campaign promises. We need to get back to a place, regardless of where you actually stand on the political spectrum, we need to get back to a place where the American people, ordinary citizens, voters, have high standards for our politicians, and remind them, "No, no, No, no, no. You work for us. You raised your hand and volunteered to do this. You wanted to work for us. So, either you do that or we're done with you. It's that simple. >> Yeah, and so now a lot of people are doing that and the people who used to be the most loyal because once you tell us about who the next person is like So, we we just mentioned Marjorie Taylor Greene, right? >> In fact, I'll do it. The next person who then came out and not on the Republican side, but on the Democratic side was Joy Reid. To be fair, actually she came out before Tucker Carlson to get the chronology, right? And said, "I don't know that I'm going to stay in the Democratic Party if they keep saying we have to do what everything that Israel wants." >> And you know what? I really really respect her for for saying that because I always kind of thought of her as a loyalist to the Democratic establishment. >> and I went on Joy's show, which you should check out, and she's completely changed. And she and she has a totally and a different attitude, which I love. >> That sounds amazing and and maybe it's the cable news brain rot, you know, that you know, that >> Look, me and Joy were on MSNBC. Tucker was on on and Megan Kelly were on Fox News and they now say that about Fox News like they we got fed a lot of propaganda over there. We regret the things that we've said there. And they was the most die-hard loyalists to the Republican Party. Joy Reid was the most die-hard loyalists to the Democratic Party and Democratic leadership, right? Now we're all going, "Wait, now that we're unshackled from mainstream media and Washington, you take the blinders off and it becomes so obvious that we're being manipulated into supporting Israel." >> And guys, you know, just going back to what the two parties used to divide us, but also provide this illusion that they're very different parties representing different interests. You know, there's a political scientist out of Ireland. He's He's passed away, but he wrote an incredible book. His name's Peter Mair, m a i r. And he had a theory about political parties in his country and how they leaned into very heavily leaned into divisive social issues in order to do exactly what we're experiencing in our political system right now. So, why did the transgender issue for instance become such a gigantic issue wedge issue during the last election? When you consider how, you know, small the transgender population is. Like we have so many problems in the country. Why was everyone harping on that one issue again and again and again? Because it's divisive. It leads to fighting among ordinary Americans over like woo perceived scary things that are happening in some cases. In some cases, you know, you're not allowed to have a debate or a conversation about it. It just everyone was at each other's throats on that issue. And I think it was very much intentional. I think the Republican Party was really good at bringing that issue up again and again and again. I just be careful with what they're trying to distract you with. Keep your eye on the prize. >> Two quick things I'll add to that. One, whenever Israel's in trouble, they always launch a distraction. Okay, so like for example in the UK, they're going back several years and bringing back grooming gangs. Oh, remember you have to hate the Muslims. Don't look at Epstein and the all the child pedophilia there and etc. Don't look at the wars that you guys that are super unpopular in the UK. Muslims, you got to hate the Muslims. It's part culture war to divide us. Part a way to say don't hate Israel, hate the Muslims. One of their pundits here in America while talking to um um uh the conservative guy who's I debated, the Indian guy, Dinesh D'Souza, uh said uh yeah, you know, it's hard to get people to like Israel, so we're attacking Muslims to get them to to you know, focus on She said that. Yeah, to Dinesh D'Souza. Yeah. And I was like, you shouldn't have said that on air. Okay. >> Wow. >> Yeah, so like it's so crystal clear. And Anna, I had a wow moment in your reporting while I was gone. >> Yeah. >> Because you and Glenn Greenwald were talking about Labour Together and Dropsite News wrote a brilliant article about them because you said it I not only watched the video but I then went and read the Dropsite News article. Oh my god, guys, it was such an excellent explanation. So of why I got banned, but that's the tiny issue compared to the larger iceberg they explained. There's a group called Labour Together and their job was to redirect the Labour Party away from Jeremy Corbyn and away from criticism of Israel >> Yeah. >> into supporting not just Israel but most of the wealthy and the powerful in Great Britain. >> Yeah. >> And the guy they picked to redirect the Labour Party way back in the day was Keir Starmer. And the to me the that article every layer was amazing. But one of the most amazing parts was they're like they'll Starmer will pretend to do these big changes. That's what he'll promise in the elections >> Mhm. >> so he can regain the Labour voters. >> Mhm. >> But once he gets into office, he won't do any of that. And that right there describes the entire plan of the Democratic Party in my lifetime here in America. >> You're You're exactly right. And I think now Republican voters are seeing it with their own party. But I just want to go back to the grooming gangs really quick, Cenk, because look, I I see that story as so indicative of a of a big problem that we have because the grooming gangs were absolutely real and the victims were absolutely denied justice for a very long time. And so what happens is you have two different groups of people. You have good faith individuals who want to apply the law equally to everyone. Okay, not just toward Muslims, not just toward any specific group of people. You are victimizing young girls. Who cares what your identity is if you are breaking the law and you're victimizing these girls, you should be brought to justice. But then you have the Tommy Robinson types who are very much driven by hatred and they say vile disgusting Islamophobic things and they tend to be the ones who announce these types of stories and these cases that makes people who might be receptive to that story, might actually care about it, might want to know about it, it repels them because they think they're getting this information from a gross Islamophobe. So, the point that I'm trying to make here is the grooming gangs are real, those poor girls were victimized and neglected by their own government, they failed to keep them safe. So, even though you have some of these like unsavory people making claims, try to find a reliable source, okay, a non-biased source and try to find out what the truth is because the last thing you want to do is fall prey to denying something that's actually happening. >> Yeah, so real quick on that. Uh, so guys, grooming gangs is kind of a perfect example of the culture wars going wrong in both directions. So, in the beginning, they're downplayed because of identity politics. Oh, it's Muslim Americans, we don't want to drive hatred towards them. >> Not not Americans, Muslims in >> Sorry, Muslims in the UK. Sorry, yes, thank you for that. Uh, and so we don't want to drive hatred or bigotry towards them. Yeah, but you don't have to, you could just arrest the actual guys who did it, right? And then the culture wars go in the opposite direction and you go, now you have to talk about grooming gangs nonstop. Why? Because the Israelis want you to, right? So, now you're forced into either you have to hate all Muslims because of the grooming gangs or you're not allowed to arrest any Muslims because then you're hating all Wait, no, I don't like either one of those extremes. Why don't we hold people responsible for their own actions? So, that's why we tell you about Israel all the time. No, it's not all Jews, that's ridiculous. government of Israel, right? And in this case, in the grooming gang's case, of course not all Muslims, but it is those Muslims, right? And it is those Israelis who are in favor of a genocide and these wars, etc. So, let's keep the criticism to who deserves it and not broaden out to a group of people and and thereby fall in the trap of the culture wars and and and us getting divided and not uniting around things we agree on. >> Totally. Now, let's get back to Tucker real quick because it did spark some interesting reactions, including from Seth Dillon. Um he's the guy behind the Babylon Bee, I think. Uh he says of Tucker, "He hates Trump and Jews." >> Sure, sure. >> "Has abandoned the GOP and fallen in love with Islam." "He's basically Charlie's, meaning Charlie Kirk's, opposite. Interesting that you felt the need to mention Charlie Kirk and speak on his behalf in that post, but anyway, interesting." >> Yeah. >> Uh you >> The way that they constantly talk about Charlie Kirk, man. Uh I mean, when he first got shot, it didn't even occur to me that it might be anything but Tyler Robinson, and then they just keep jumping up and going, "It's not Israel." Oh, okay. We No, it's very normal to pave the cement right after a shooting. >> I know. >> It's very normal for a shooter to change twice in the middle of a shooting. >> I I really don't want to get into it, but that that whole thing There's just a lot of weird behavior going on. I will confess to that. Now, Dave Rubin also responded to this saying, "Told you Tucker By the way, remember this is Dave Rubin of all people, who's like changed his political identity a million times based on what he thinks is going to be more profitable for himself. He says, "Told you that Tucker would leave the Republicans and Megan would come back to Trump. For now, Tucker will say he isn't a Democrat, but watch his guests and topics. They will only be pro-Dem and anti-Republican. His goal is to split the Republicans and usher in national socialism. >> Okay, that's hilarious because every Israeli accusation is a confession, right? So, watch out for Dave Rubin. He'll abandon the Democratic Party. Oh, right, he did. And he'll try to split the Democratic Party. Oh, right. So, that you'll support fascism. The fascism of Israel? Oh, right. >> Mhm. Yep. Uh Cat Turd says, "Who gives a f?" Um Uh get over yourself, you're one vote. >> Yeah, right. [laughter] >> guys don't care I mean, they they lose their minds about Tucker Carlson every day. >> Yeah. >> Like you care. You care, Cat Turd. You care. And then finally, Mark Levin, I think his new party has uniforms and I don't mean Boy Scouts. >> Um >> Calling him a Nazi, basically. >> Of course, but who hasn't Mark Levin called a Nazi? And it's not just Mark Levin, guys, and Cat Turd and losers and idiots like Dave Rubin. The entire Zionist infrastructure in this country is all like, "Tucker Carlson hates Jews. ANYONE WHO CRITICIZES ISRAEL HATES JEWS." Now now they've moved on to as I said earlier in the program, to say anyone who criticizes AIPAC hates Jews. So, you're they're allowed to buy off your politicians. By the way, AIPAC has a pledge saying you must support Israel unconditionally. It doesn't matter what they do or what they do to America. You have no choice. It must be unconditional. Otherwise, we're going to spend tens of millions of dollars defeating you, okay? And all these losers, these traitors to our country, have signed that pledge. I swear to serve Israel loyally and unconditionally, okay? And then they say, "Well, it's your fault for noticing. You shouldn't be allowed to talk about what we how we get your congressmen on their knees, okay? And now if you dare criticize AIPAC and their unconditional pledges of loyalty to another country. You're an anti-Semite and we'll destroy you. Yeah, I think somebody's putting on that dangerous uniform, but it isn't the people opposed to a genocide. It's the people in favor of a genocide. Every time you ring the bell below, an angel gets its wings. Totally not true, but it
