All right, so no divorce announcement has shocked the internet quite like Jelly Roll and Bunny XO did on Tuesday, especially because this is the way we know that they talk about each other. Just watch. >> I don't need anyone, and then here comes this cute just chubby-cheeked southern man who just drew me in. He's just not anything that I ever expected. Swept me off my feet, but it was crazy cuz the first time I met him, like I've said this numerous times, like it was just like my soul was like, "There you are."
And it was like my whole life, everything I had been through was to meet this man. >> It felt like somebody actually believed in me. And I hadn't felt that in a while. My father believed in my mother, you know, my but like outside of my little crew, she just prophesied it over me from I'll never forget the first time we hung out, she whispered in my ear, she said, "I don't know what it is, but you're special." She's like, "You're special."
And I felt the same way about her. We just celebrated our eighth anniversary last >> Congratulations. >> Thank you, man. I I'm I'm talking to you about I've done so many interviews and never talked about this. I was so insecure in my body for so many years that I found validation through women. And I thought that if I could pull pretty women, that it would it then I wasn't fat. You know what I mean? And it was just something else, you know?
And because of that, I had a really really bad relationship with women. Multiple women all the time. Many partners as I could get. Living double, triple, quadruple lives, relationships with all these people. >> [gasps] >> The first thing that happened was when I got with Bunny, it was something that just happened where I was immediately I didn't want to talk to nobody. I just wanted to be with her. >> But I guess it's true what they say about never believing everything that you see on the internet, because you really don't know what is going on behind closed doors.
Or maybe, as the internet also likes to say, this is simply what happens when you give an ugly guy a chance. Let's break it down. Before we do though, make sure that you like this video, subscribe to the channel if you have not already, and if you want even more videos from me and The Bobby Cooper Show, make sure to ring that notification bell. So, guys, this is what we know thus far. I am filming this on Tuesday, and early this morning the news broke that Jelly Roll had filed for divorce from his wife Bunny XO.
And I know that is like the most insane sentence to hear. It is an insane sentence for me to say out loud that those are people's names. So, I know that for some of you that might sound like complete gibberish. You're like, "The Jelly Roll did the what to the Bunny?" I know, it's crazy. But, these are two real people. He filed for divorce back in May, but the news only broke today. And sources have told TMZ that while Jelly was the one who officially did the filing, this divorce was allegedly allegedly a mutual decision by the couple, and it is a private family matter, so those sources were not going to give any other information.
AND NOW, FOR THOSE of you who might be confused by these insane names, I am going to give you a little bit of context and information about their relationship because I think that's really important as the internet is trying what might have gone wrong. Because while many people now know them as this, you know, Christian inspiration and example of what love and redemption and faith can do in somebody's life, their marriage really has been rocky from the start.
Like, they have been together for 10 years now. They got married back in 2016, but like the first thing to note is that Jelly Roll had a baby with another woman. Like, this baby was born a week before their wedding. So, he had a baby with another woman, and then they got married a week later. Now, on top of that, Bunny was a sex worker when they got together. She was also still doing sex work for, I think, the majority of their marriage, only stopped a few years ago when she started her podcast and kind of built her own media empire.
And for many years, they had what they defined as a free marriage. So, that is the word they chose to describe their open marriage, an open marriage. But, apparently, according to Bunny, that also ended a few years ago. So, essentially, rocky start, they had, you know, this whole come to Jesus moment, literally, turned their marriage around, and that ended a while ago. >> I don't understand what part of we are not in an open relationship that people cannot comprehend.
The only thing that we don't do though is try to control the other person. If I want to go sleep with another man, he's not going to be like, "No, you're mine." You don't You can't do that to people. The same goes for like if there was another woman, but this is all in the past. Like we've completely stopped all of those shenanigans cuz you can't trust anybody in the world. Back in the day, that was how we looked at our relationship.
want to tell each other what we can and can't do. We have free will. >> I don't know. I think I would personally beg to differ. I mean, this is just my personal opinion, but with that behavior and that philosophy, I'm sorry, it seems like the marriage was just doomed from the start. Like maybe you were not calling it open, but maybe that is an open marriage. If you're saying that you're not controlling your own desires, if you're not controlling your spouse, if you want to go sleep with somebody, you can, like by definition, that is an open marriage.
And it's funny because in the comments of those TikToks, even her fans, that was a clip that was on her official page, her fans WERE LIKE, "UH, NO, YOU literally just described an open marriage." And sure, you know, maybe I sort of get what she's trying to say and that you don't want to be walking around thinking that you have to be or should be controlling your spouse and watching their every move, but like that's not the point.
Your spouse should not, in an ideal situation, in a true committed marriage, your spouse should not need to be controlled. They should be controlling themselves. They should be controlling themselves and their desires because they are committed to you and because they love and respect you. So, just saying that you, you know, believe in free will and don't believe in controlling others, that is, I'm sorry, in my personal opinion, psychoanalyzing a marriage, that is just rationalizing somebody else's behavior and giving space like keeping the door open for that behavior and having an excuse in place so that you can rationalize it away in my professional opinion anyway.
It seems like maybe him she needing to be controlled was a pattern because in 2018 unfortunately Jelly Roll did cheat on her. He had a 10-month to a year long affair behind her back and she talked about it here. >> In my book I talk about wanting to take my own life when I find find out found out about my husband having the year long affair behind my back and I don't think any other woman who unless they've been through it knows what crushing pain that is to find out that it's not just a sexual relationship.
>> now based on the publicly available timeline that we have it seems like maybe after 2018 or so it seems like maybe they closed those freely open doors and realized that maybe Jelly Roll maybe she also needed to be a little bit more controlled. Now to be fair obviously I want to acknowledge this they have been very candid about this affair and how it changed their marriage how both of them said that it was a turning point for their marriage they had to decide whether they were going to let this betrayal you know rip them apart or whether they were going to come back together and you know stay together for their family and they in their own words said that they took this opportunity to come back stronger.
>> One of the worst moments of my adulthood was when I had an affair on my wife. Because it was the first time that I was like I really can't get this right at all like I know I'm in love with this woman. You know what I mean? Like it was just such a like it just really really really blew me back and um and I did a lot of work to repair that relationship. You know what I mean? Like the repair has been special man and we're stronger than we could have ever been.
And um I wish our story would have went in the way that it never had an affair. But and I'm in no way glad it happened but man I'm proud of who we are today. I was hanging around a bunch of people that were cheating on their wives. >> Mhm. >> I was hanging you know, like um when I was doing cocaine, I was hanging around a bunch of people that were doing cocaine. When I was drinking a lot, I was hanging around a lot of people that were drinking a lot.
>> So I wanted to show you guys that clip for two reasons. Number one, to show, you know, his remorse, the way he spoke about this affair, you know, hear from his own words how that transformed their relationship, and just so that you see, you know, him being proud of where they are today. And time and time again in so many different interviews and all of his songs, he said that he is so grateful that she continued to choose and support him.
And time and time again throughout this decade-long relationship, she was doing that. Like we to going back to the beginning when they got together, she was the breadwinner. She was a high end Las Vegas escort. He was an overweight ex-con drug addict with a dream. He was homeless, living in a van, and she helped him, literally pulled him out of that, and got him to where he is today. She literally funded his 2017 album.
She helped him get housing and the financial resources to hire a lawyer so that he could get custody of his daughters cuz they were in a bad situation, but he was homeless, and so obviously he was not going to be able to get custody. So all this time as Jelly Roll has been getting more and more famous, obviously the world has just been so captivated by the story of these two broken, like objectively hardened individuals with very storied past, how they came together, supported one another, and made each other better.
And all along all of us were thinking that they were happy. I mean, like look at him telling the story. >> So when Bunny comes into my life, I have to sit Bunny down, and man, this is the first time we've ever talked about this outside of her podcast. I have to sit Bunny down and go, "Look, I have a kid that you know about that I'm fixing to have to get full custody of. There's also a woman out there that's pregnant with a kid of mine."
And Bunny's just like, "Man, that's a lot." She was like, "But I got you. Whatever." Well, I don't have a house. I'm homeless. So she's like, "Well, the first thing we have to do is get you somewhere to live in Nashville." I was like, "Well, I can't put it in my name. I'm a felon. I don't have enough proof of income to get the kind of place we'd need to get her in the right school district." Bunny's like, "Let's just go get a condo so you have a bedroom for her."
I'm like, "All right, cool." So, Bunny comes out and we're getting a condo. I'll never forget Bunny looked at me and man, it makes me emotional. She said, "No matter what happens with us, I'm going to help you get this little girl." And I was like, "Man, what [clears throat] character." You know what I mean? Like, what character. This woman is like, "Look, I'm not 100% sure I'll be with you, but I'mma do everything I can to help you with this little girl."
That's who could Dude, I'm broke. I can't afford the lawyer. I can't afford anything. I'm like, "Dude, I can't get What am I going to put the kid in the van?" Dude, I'm living out of like a '96 van. And Bunny's like, "I'll help you." So, Bunny bankrolled the whole >> I mean, like I'm tearing up. Like, THEY'RE GETTING A DIVORCE AND I'M TEARING UP. I'M SO emotional since having a baby. But, obviously, people were taken by that.
It is just an incredible incredible story. And I mean, just back in February, the world was once again captivated by, you know, his Christian testimony that he gave in his Grammy speech. He was also showering her with love and praise saying like, "I could not do any of this without you. You saved me. You are the reason why I am here." They had also for the last year and a half been trying to have a baby. I think that was the reason that um he like sparked this health journey that he's been on.
You Some people have been like he kind of looks like a melted candle because he's lost so much weight, but he has. But, I think it was because they were struggling to get pregnant. And so, also back earlier this year, they announced that she had been going through IVF. They had found a surrogate because that was the only way they were going to be able to have a family of their own after she had SPENT THE LAST 10 years raising the daughters that he had with other women.
Like, it's so it's just again, it just seemed remarkable. And so, everybody would look at the story and say, "Look what love can do and forgiveness can do. Look what God can do for this family, for these people." And then, it all just came crashing down. The divorce news broke. And of course, since there were not many details, obviously, since they had to say private family matter, the rumors are just flying off the roof.
They have already had a lot of bad press recently, and this maybe should just be an episode in and of itself because the story is just so insane that even involves Candace at one point in time. It's just wild, but Jelly Roll and Bunny have been feuding with a woman named Nicole Arbour. Again, she had a whole feud with Candace many years ago. She claims that Bunny and Jelly Roll have been stalking her and threatening to kill her, that he's also paid off police officers and TMZ.
Like she has been going crazy talking about this story. Just watch this. >> If you saw the article that TMZ just posted about myself and Jelly Roll and you're as shocked as I am, welcome to this. Um, if you didn't see it, TMZ just posted an article saying, "Jelly Roll accused of death threat against woman. Cops say no investigation." And the caption is, "Jelly Roll is facing some heavy accusations from comedian Nicole Arbour, but police in Nashville say they're not exactly rushing to build a case."
Here's why all of this is strange and giving police corruption. It looks like the TMZ article came out at 1:00 p.m. At 1:46 p.m., I received an email from the detective who is actively and has been actively investigating some of the different things I have going on with Jelly Roll. Detective Steven Powers says at 1:46 p.m., "Attempts to contact one of the witnesses have been unsuccessful. The case is now suspended pending contact with him or new evidence being discovered.
If contact is made, I will let you know and the investigation will resume." >> Strange. >> Now, again, that is a whole other story. It stems from somebody who did something bad to Nicole, who is a friend of Jelly Roll's, and then they were saying that it didn't happen, and now there's this whole feud, allegedly Jelly Roll threatening. He's a He's, you know, around bad people. She So, she's saying that he's not as redeemed as, you know, his good guy image is, that he is, you know, lying to everybody.
And And so, she's essentially saying that he's, you know, paid off the police, that he's not really this good guy that now, you know, everybody thinks he is. So, that's a whole thing. The New York Post also reported that their Christian public image does not align with the gangsters that they surround themselves with, which is also something that Nicole Arbor has said. This headline reads, "Jelly Roll and gangster Bunny XO reputation as good Christians at risk from thugs they surround themselves with with sources."
So, that could possibly be part of it. It seems like maybe she's a gangster as well. So, I feel like if they were being gangsters and thugs together, maybe they could still have a happy marriage. So, I don't know if that is part of the, you know, dissolving of their marriage, but I thought it was relevant to put in there as well. Now, ON TOP OF THAT, all of the sleuths over on TikTok have been speculating that actually it was her that left him and maybe he was cheating on him, that she left him for somebody that is in the band Nickelback because she's been posting all of these like cryptic videos to songs from Nickelback, like this one.
And in case we can't play that entire TikTok for you because of copyright things, that is her singing along to How You Remind Me by Nickelback. But, in addition to that, that is not the only thing that is happening over on TikTok because Bunny herself has been reposting a lot of interesting videos over the last month. Just take a look at these. These are not things that she herself has made, but she has reposted them, put them on other people's for you pages.
Now, people are reading into them. Look at this. >> You got to be a different type of evil when you know somebody love the out of you and you still drag them through hell. Like real you got to be a different type of up when you know somebody would do anything for you and you still dog the out of them. And then you use it how much they with you as leverage. Like, "Oh, I can do this, this, and that." And they still ain't going nowhere.
No, you need to be a mental patient. >> You did to me what I never would have done to you. I don't want any type of friendship. I don't feel safe having you know anything about me or having any association with me. I understand the position that you were in. You described it to me perfectly, but if I was in that position, I still would not have done that to you. Therefore, we're done. >> We're done. So, So are the two videos that really stood out to people.
and if you look at the comment section on both of those TikToks, all of them are people who came from Bunny's page and are saying, "Oh my gosh, Bunny, we see you reposting this. What is going on?" Some of them are from, you know, even before the divorce announcement. They're like, "What is happening?" And so now it seems like the puzzle pieces are falling into place. You know, she is saying that she feels hurt. She's betrayed.
She's also now over on her Instagram page posting a glorified nudes. It's like she's back in Vegas. She's in lingerie, posting stories saying that she's finally gotten her sparkle back, all of the things. And so now all of this leads me to my most plausible theory. And guys, it is a tale as old as time. He has chosen, allegedly, allegedly, to bite the hand that has been feeding him this entire time. I mean, that is like me suddenly betraying Helix after they have been giving me the best sleep of my entire life.

And so, what I mean by him biting the hand that has fed him is that over the last year and a half or so, Jelly Roll turned his life around in a way.
He lost hundreds of pounds. He got skinny. He fixed his busted teeth. He now has these fancy new BRIGHT PEARLY WHITE VENEERS. HE'S RICH. And most importantly, he got the audacity. He got the audacity to think that he could do better than the woman who literally picked him off the jail cell floor. One person tweeted and said, "He cheated on her multiple times during their relationship, and she forgave him every time and defended him publicly.
She has also helped him raise his two kids in previous relationships and treat them as her own. She supported him throughout his entire career and helped him get healthy again, too. Now, he's the one that's leaving her, allegedly." Allegedly. Ladies, this is why you need to stop forgiving these bum-ass men who don't deserve you. If they cheat, leave. I agree with that. Give an ugly man a chance and he'll act like he rules the world, which is a common internet phrase.
Then another person put it a little more bluntly and said, "When fat people lose weight, they think they're the shit." Now, guys, I have to say, to me, this makes perfect sense because did you know, I learned this today, did you know that significant weight loss is one of the biggest causes of divorce around the world. I did not know about this, but oh my gosh, people have literally been writing about this trend for years.
And apparently this first became a visible trend when weight loss surgery got popular. So, before you do something like a gastric sleeve surgery, most of the time, and if you guys have had that done, write in the comments below if you had to do this, but most of the time, according to what I've read, they have you complete this pre-surgery course. And so, they'll talk about, you know, what do you need to do to prepare for the surgery, the lifestyle changes you're going to have to make before and after, all of that stuff, but they also talk about your mental health.
And like psychologically, the place that you should be in going into the surgery and what you should expect afterwards. And part of that is them talking about how this surgery can potentially have devastating impacts on the relationships in your life. And sometimes, depending on the doctor and the like medical institution, they will even ask your spouse to take the class with you so that they also are prepared for what you both are walking into.
And it really all goes back to this idea, understandably, that once you have lost all of this weight, if it is a, you know, huge significant weight loss, you've gained this new confidence, maybe a new lease on life. You look around at your life and you start to think, "And now that I'm, you know, this entirely new person, maybe I could do better." Or you start receiving all of this new attention from other people who maybe didn't notice you before and you start to see all of the other options that you now have.
And guys, WHAT DO YOU KNOW, WHAT DO YOU KNOW, but this divorce trend is rapidly increasing thanks to Ozempic. Everything always goes back to Ozempic. So, literally just last week, this is like a prophecy, Psychology Today published this article. This was on June 11th, quote, "What is behind the rise in Ozempic divorces? The biopsychosocial processes behind GLP-1 driven relationship changes. Fox Digital even wrote about it this spring.
Divorce boom may follow use of Ozempic and other GLP-1s according to experts. And now what people also aren't really talking about a lot, at least in my experience, maybe they are on your feed, but at least in my experience on social media doing episodes on this, what I am not seeing people talk about are the ways that GLP-1s impact not only your weight. Because based on my understanding now, it is a total rewiring of people's brains.
So one therapist in a blog post wrote, "What is happening inside the brain on a GLP-1 is genuinely unusual. These medications were originally developed for diabetes, but researchers now understand that GLP-1 receptors are not confined to the gut and the pancreas. GLP-1 receptors are expressed in the ventral tegmental area, nucleus accumbens, hopefully I'm pronouncing that correctly, and the prefrontal cortex, the core brain regions that govern reward, motivation, and dopamine signaling.
In plain language, these drugs do not just quiet hunger, they quiet the brain's entire reward circuitry. So might that impact the most intimate relationships in your life? Yes, duh, like no Sherlock. Oh my god, like I can't believe we're not talking about this more. And now, most importantly here, earlier this year, very early 2026, there was a bombshell study out of Sweden that should have made bigger headlines in my opinion.
Um this same therapist wrote in early 2026, "Researchers from Sweden's Institute of Health and Care Sciences reported findings from a cohort of roughly 12,500 patients who underwent rapid weight loss. The results were striking. 14% of patients divorced within 6 years compared to 8% in the general population, nearly double the baseline rate. The phrase bariatric divorce has existed in clinical literature for years. That is the gastric sleeve surgery, weight loss surgery.
What is new is the scale. With an estimated 12 to 15 million Americans now on a prescribed GLP-1 medication, we are potentially witnessing the largest simultaneous identity transformation in recent memory and the marriages that these patients are in were not designed to absorb it. Guys, I literally got chills reading this. Okay, so we have all of these people, tens of millions of them on GLP-1s, so their brains are being rewired.
Add that in with SSRIs, add it in with the millions of women that have been on birth control since they were freaking 14 years old, no wonder our society is a mess. No wonder people are numb. No wonder marriages are falling apart. No wonder people are not getting married. When you look out in the world, sometimes you feel like you're just walking around with a bunch of emotionless zombies. It's insane. It is insane.
Now, anyway, I want to move on from that. I know that that was a bit of an aside. We are going to get back to Jelly Roll. And that study was really important because it was not specifically talking about Ozempic. Like, the divorce rate, that was not a Ozempic side effect. It is just a side effect of significant weight loss and that is important in this story because Jelly Roll has been open about the fact that he did not use a GLP-1.
He was really nervous about that. Obviously, he's had, um, you know, a history of addiction. He didn't want to have any kind of addiction to anything. So, he just wanted to like lose the weight, the quote-unquote right way. So, he worked with his trainer. He was, you know, tracking his macros. He did a really intense diet. He did not use any of that. But, the mental impacts of losing the weight are still relevant and applicable.
And these anecdotes, unfortunately, are all over the internet. Like, a year ago, one man posted in the r/divorce subreddit and he said, "Blindsided, I'm just trying to understand." And he said, "I love my wife so much. We were together for 10 years. We were married just shy of five. She historically had issues with low self-esteem. Recently, within just a span of about two months, she dropped a lot of weight on Ozempic and weird comments started to come from her.
She told me she has a fantasy of watching her have sex with another man, not for me. She told me her co-worker masturbates to her. Totally inappropriate. Why was he comfortable telling her this? What reaction was she looking to get out of me?" He also says, "I'm in the military and she recently told me, "Hey, you should get a hall pass when you deploy because you're coming home to me anyway." She says guys are starting to buy her coffee in the morning on her way to work.
He also tells the story about how while he was away on a trip, she got home really late and then like very sketchily deleted the footage off of their Ring camera and then she like freaked out when he brought it up and so he goes on and he says that she stated that she recognizes that it seems sketchy but that she has gained more confidence and more attention from other men lately and that they are just fantasies. "I shut down on that trip.
That's when she was deleting the Ring footage and I didn't talk to her. When I came home, she was completely unemotional and said she wants a divorce. She loves but no longer is in love with me and that is it." And the comments were just crazy. Like one guy said, "I had a very similar experience. 10 years of being together suddenly thrown away because now she's lost weight and I haven't and she doesn't find me attractive anymore.
Even though I pretty much always go and exercise with her, I have always just been a wide dude. So it's crazy, man. Don't beat yourself up too much about it." Another guy said, "That's crazy. I never knew this knew this about the trend. My wife lost like 40 lbs before asking for a divorce. She looked super sickly but hotter than ever. She has gained back about half that weight since the divorce 3 years ago. Karma, baby.
That's what I would say to that guy." Uh, and then the last comment I'll read is this guy said, "I have been on dates with more than 10 women, not at the same time, whose relationship ended after they lost weight. Some left, some were left." I've also met multiple men who all left after they lost weight. I've not met a lot of guys who left after losing. I mean like this is it's just awful. It's devastating for all of these people, especially for the ones that I was reading in these comments, who were cheering their spouses on the entire time.
That were saying, "Yes, let me go work out with you. Let me support you. This is so great. I want you to feel more confident." And then they turn around and they were left. And so if this, unfortunately, the sad thing, if this is the case for Bunny and Jelly Roll, and I feel, in my opinion, like this is a really compelling theory, then that is really the part that makes me the saddest because it genuinely, unless we've just been lied to about their entire relationship, it genuinely seems like she has loved this man every step of the way.
Even at his lowest and his biggest, and for years she has dealt with the ramifications of that. You know, she has had people in her comments literally for the last decade saying, "There's no way you're actually attracted to this guy. You're just using him for his money. You're leeching off of him." Totally forgetting or ignoring the fact that he got his start because of her. That she literally funded it. That she's been supporting him the entire way.
That she, apparently, according to what she says, was still attracted to him at his original size, but that she also was supporting his health journey every single step of the way. And another thing that I think is important to bring up is that when he did go on this health journey and he started losing the weight, she was publicly supporting him and she was always saying that it was all about his confidence and his happiness, and that is the only thing that she cared about.
>> Jay has almost lost 300 lb, but we've got to keep him in line now. Are you afraid he'll get too hot? >> No. I I want him to get hot. >> You want him hot? >> want him to get hot. He deserves to have a hot streak. I'm ready for him to just feel his best, and he's so happy now. Like, he was happy before, but it's a different happy now. He's like getting his confidence back, and he's like, you know, peacocking around, and he's got a little strut in his step, and I just think it's the cutest thing.
>> I mean, what awful foreshadowing if this is actually what happened. She's sitting on the Howard Stern show saying, "I want him to be hot. I want him to be so confident. I think it's so cute that he's peacocking around. I love it. It's just so adorable." And then if this is the case, then he just got a little too big for his britches. Got a little too much of the peacock in his pants. And now, again, of course, we do not know the entire story, but simply based on the empirical evidence, on the weight loss trends, on the psychoanalysis of the situation, it does seem, allegedly, like he took his ride or die for granted and maybe thought that he could do better.
Or maybe because he was getting all of this attention, he took a step out of line and she was just not as willing to forgive him. And that's fair because, you know, she had already forgiven him for so much over the years and she had stood by him and she said in an interview, actually last year, that she believed in second chances, but not third. >> I left and, you know, he came and got me, but I also believe that I have been given so many second chances in my life.
Like I truly believe that that man deserved a second chance and I gave it to him and it is the best decision I ever made. Will he get a third? Absolutely not. Okay. >> [laughter] >> Okay. Let's just make that clear. >> I mean, if I had seen that clip a year ago, I probably would have thought, oh, that's just so cute, you know, she's joking. And she's being real about it because obviously that was not a fun situation that she was in, but maybe she knew something that we did not.
Maybe that was actually a little bit of a threat because of things that were going on in their marriage. I have no idea, but she kind of spelled out the situation right there and if that is actually what happened, then I am glad for her sake that she drew a line in the sand and that she stuck to her guns. And of course, you could argue that everything I am saying is totally baloney, that none of this is accurate because Jelly Roll is the one who filed in the marriage, but being the one who files does not equal innocence, I guess I would say.
And you know, he could want out of the relationship just as much as she does because HE WANTS TO GO PEACOCK AROUND OR WHATEVER HE'S DOING with his new skinny body, melted candle skin and white veneers. I don't know. Or, you know, maybe I am just totally off base. Maybe she did fall in love with the Nickelback guy. Maybe she's riding off in the sunset on his frosted tips. Who I don't know who betrayed who. Who knows?
This is just my theory, but it is clear that all of this, this whole divorce announcement is hitting people so hard because of what their relationship represented. It isn't even about these two individuals. It is about what their marriage gave to people, which was hope. Their marriage represented second chances and forgiveness and redemption and the idea that somebody's past mistakes do not have to define their future.
It is incredibly rare to see that on a global stage. I think it is even rarer to see them kind of walk their audience through that entire journey with the kind of humility and candor they had throughout the entire thing. So, I think a lot of people really related to it and found hope in them. So, regardless of what happened or why it dissolved, it is sad to see all of that come crashing down.
