All right, so a couple of days ago on the show, I said that it felt like a memo had been sent out to all of the feminist mouthpieces in the feminist machine. The young women are getting too happy. They're in love with men. They're getting married. They're consuming too much ballerina farm Brett Cooper content. They're buying the Evie magazine milkmaid dresses. We have to do something. We have to stop that and make them lean in.
Thank you, Sheryl Sandberg. And suddenly, again, it literally just happened over the course of like 3 days, but suddenly the most insufferable people that I could think of in the media were comparing marriage to slavery, saying we got to pull out the whips. They were celebrating hookup culture, which in 2026 feels like so 2016 in my mind. They were saying on The View that it is reckless to encourage women to have children.
But apparently, that little memo from last week, it was just not taking it far enough. Because it seems like they don't want to just stop with preventing women from getting married and having children, but they want to actively blow up the already happy marriages that are in existence. And so now, a week later, now my timeline is full of people celebrating infidelity, all in the name, obviously, of feminism and empowerment.
Now, the cherry on top of this entire story has been the real-life example of this through the viral rumored alleged affair between Diana Russini, who is a NFL reporter, and head coach Mike Vrabel. Now, we have a lot to cover, but before we do, I want to say thank you guys so much for being here and supporting the show. Thank you for liking the episodes and commenting and subscribing. If you've not subscribed, hit that button.
And if you want to stay up to date on every single episode that we upload, make sure to ring that notification bell. All right. So, just diving into the next level of this memo. Again, they saw whatever statistics were going around last week of like women are choosing tradwife over girlboss, which by the way, those are like two very distinct buckets. Maybe I should do a whole like newsletter on that. I felt like that survey was just a little bit weird, but still, maybe the feminists saw it and they were like, "OH, NO!
PULL OUT! WE HAVE TO do something!" And so, The Cut published an article this week titled The Secret to a great marriage crushes on other people. Now, first of all, I'm like, this is not the time in our culture to release this article because like, have you people learned nothing from the Secret Wives of Mormon Wives sleeping around with other people, opening up your marriage, crushes on I mean, not just the Secret Wives of Mormon Wives, Lindy West, what we talked about a couple of weeks ago, her, her husband, her husband's other wife.
It is a mess and nobody's happy. Anyway, sorry, had to. Moving on from that, you might see this article, you might think, okay, Brett, this is some clicky headline, they do this all the time. You might think that maybe the author is talking about the fact that, you know, humans will always notice the attractiveness of other humans, maybe they are talking about, you know, finding a celebrity attractive, you know, celebrity crushes, whatever it is.
No. No, it is none of those things. It is having crushes on real people in your real life, like your co-workers, while you are married. Just listen. So, the author, who is a married woman with children, said this. She said, "In my last job, I had a crush on a co-worker named Phil, whose name has been changed so as not to embarrass him or more importantly, myself." Honey, you are already embarrassing yourself by writing this article.
"Phil looks like a swarthier Jake Gyllenhaal, and the first time he spoke to me, I remember being genuinely confused as to how this person had ended up in print media, since he was too attractive to know what the phrase nut graph meant. I did not and do not know Phil well. By the time we stopped working together, we had exchanged maybe 40 words in total, the vast majority of which were about Steely Dan. My husband, to whom I have been married to for almost 10 years, heard about him every once in a while.
Occasionally, when I got home from work, he'd ask if my office crush was in that day. Once I was putting on some lip tint and mascara before a Zoom meeting, he asked if it was because Phil was on the call. He wasn't, but I would be lying if I said I didn't spend an extra few seconds on my hair on days when I knew he was going to be in the office. I'm sorry, this is so weird. Like, I don't know what kind of weird lib marriage you are part of.
Like, this is openly admitting to emotionally cheating on yourself. This is not when you lean into it and write an entire article about it and joke about it with your husband. No, this is when you make the choice with yourself to respect your marriage, to use your moral compass, which I hope that you have. This woman might not, we'll get into that, but to know that you need to shut that thought down out of the respect and love you have for your husband and the commitment, more importantly, that you have made to each other.
It's when love 'em or hate 'em, you should adopt the Pence policy. Now, if you don't know this, Mike Pence has a rule that he does not dine alone with a woman who is not his wife. He will not attend events with alcohol without his wife. Maybe some of the women we're going to be talking about today, the other women in this article, should try that. This author continues, because again, remember guys, this is apparently the key to lasting love, so listen up.
She writes, "The whole point of having a crush is that it causes a little frisson of nervous energy, one that tends to dissipate when you were in a long-term relationship. Okay, there has to be another way to spice things up. Have you heard of date night? Have you heard of doing something a little fun and fancy for your husband? That's a great idea that does not involve having crushes on other people." Anyway, sorry, getting ahead of myself.
She puts a quote in here. "A crush while you're married is like a sweet little snack that gets you through the 4:00 p.m. slump," my friend Cara told me. "Like all of the horny monogamous people referred to in this piece, Cara asked to use a pseudonym. She's been married for 4 years, and she has a crush on a New York Times critic whom she's met a few times through friends. It is harmless and invigorating and reminds you you're alive and kicking and yearning and thinking.
Her husband doesn't mind, as is the case in my relationship, and it serves as fodder for in-couple jokes. It's harmless and invigorating. So, thinking about being attracted to, fantasizing, that's what having a crush is, fantasizing about somebody who is other than your husband, that's harmless. No, actually, that's very harmful to you and him and your relationship. Again, there has got to be another way to get you through the 4:00 p.m.
slump. How you know that you are still invigorated and yearning and thinking is by going on a date with your husband. Do you want me to pay? Do you want me to get you a gift card, send you out to a nice Italian restaurant with a little candle in the center and a glass of wine? I will happily do that if it keeps you from cheating on your husband. Anyway, she goes on. She continues to share more and more women in her life that she's met who have various crushes on friends, baristas at the coffee shop that they go to every morning, co-workers.
And then she concludes the article by suggesting that her female readers, women in monogamous monogamous marriages like herself, have these crushes on rotation like an NBA roster. And just wait, I don't want to get ahead of myself, but the roster jokes and sports commentary will come back and will be relevant in the next 10 minutes, you will see. So, this is her conclusion. I call on all of this. This will never end well.
It is not harmless. It is the wrong kind of invigorating. This is nothing to aspire to. But, I do want to say we should not be surprised about this advice when we consider who the author of this article is. Her name is E.J. Dickson. Now, if that name rings a bell, it's probably because she wrote an now infamous hit piece on Candace, also for The Cut, which resulted, obviously, in Candace ripping her a new one and bringing up E.J.'s past where she once wrote an article advocating for child sex robots to help cure pedophilia.
Listen to that again. Using child sex robots to help pedophiles. Because rather than ostracizing them from society, putting them behind bars, we should give them something to simulate having sex with because it's just a mental condition that we should we should help with them with is what she's promoting in this Washington Post article. This woman, E.J. Dickson, is a mother. She is trying to give marriage advice. Yeah, I don't think so.
Based on your past, I will not be taking any of your advice. I also, just all that aside, will not be taking your advice because it is just so ridiculous. But, obviously, other people have. Other people are in line with what she's saying. And in another viral clip this week, again, it was like a memo went out, comedian Nikki Glaser went on Call Her Daddy with Alex Cooper, and she said that she and her boyfriend actually take these crushes to another level.
But, in this case, it's because she wants to hear about her boyfriend and other women. So, let's just walk through this whole interaction. Like I would always ask him about like past hookups and girlfriends and how they got together. Like I was like the beginning like, how did you guys first know you liked each other? Like I love that like our legs were touching under our table and neither of us moved our leg or something like something like that.
I would be like, so like I don't know, it would make me like horny to like think about him doing that with other girls, and then I would So, I would ask about all of his like girlfriends or anyone he'd hooked up with like all the details about it, and I would really be like a foreplay for me. Like, I would get like revved up talking about it. And then it reached a point where he was out of stories. Like, he had gone through all of them.
And I was like And then it's almost like he was telling the same ones. I was like, I know this one. So, it wasn't as exciting anymore cuz I was getting the same stuff. So, I was like I know this is I like I'd never heard of anything like this. I felt so weird. I was like, I think I need you to like get some more stories. I think I need you to go get more stories. Like, we just have to pause there. The top comment, by the way, under this video is this guy saying, "I pray for a dumb like this every single day."
And that comment is going to be even more relevant and ironic in just a few minutes when you see how she rationalizes this. TLDR, empowerment. It's like, no, this is not helping women in the slightest. You are actually just helping men. But, you are twisting your mind to claim that this is not right. Anyway, this is already weird, as you saw. Like, she gets revved up hearing about her boyfriend and other women. So much so that she now is encouraging him to go out and get more action so that she can hear about it.
So, that brings us to the next point. Just watch. >> I I need you to like go out there and just do Just have a flirty moment with someone. Like, anything where I can feel like I Maybe it's my competitive nature of like I want a guy who other girls want. Like, I I like something that is like, you know, you want a handbag that other girls are like, "Oh my god, I'm dying to get that." I was like, "You know what? If you do it and I don't like it cuz I don't know how I'll feel.
Like, I've never done this before. So, I don't know how I'll feel if my boyfriend You're my first boyfriend ever. And so, how will I feel if you have a flirty moment with another girl? So, just like try it and if I don't like it, we can stop. And just don't Just don't do Like, don't kiss her. But, like see if you Like, if you could. Like, if you get to a place where you like Maybe you even go, "I can't. I have a girlfriend."
Like, something like that. But, I don't make her feel bad about it. >> Like, I just don't even know what to say. Like, I can't even is the best way to respond to this. Like, these people are so weird. They are so disturbed. Like we have big booby Brian Noonan and his bimbos. We have people fantasizing about cheating. It's just like freaks, freaks all around us. And again, the person who is benefiting in this situation is the man.
Like her Look, let's pull up a photo of her boyfriend. This guy is like, I just landed the jackpot. I get to have a rich successful girlfriend and then I get to go flirt with whoever I want. I mean, it's just it's so wild. But guys, as I said, it's not all because this is not just weird kinky dysfunction. No, it's because obviously she's a feminist. This is feminism in action. But but then But then it's like showing their value that they are valued by other women.
Cuz I respect women. And women's opinions. I do. I want my boyfriend to other women because I just love women so much. >> [laughter] >> I'm such a feminist. Hold on. This is This is all about This is not pick me. This is pure feminism. >> Wow, thank you. She's such a What a truth bomb from Alex Cooper. Like let's just like cut the copy. Like I get it. They're making jokes or whatever, but also it's not really a joke.
And I was about to say like you cannot tie this into feminism. This is not feminism. But honestly, you kind of can't. Like this is the perfect example of this because at its core modern feminism, whatever fifth wave, sixth wave we're in now in 2026, but this modern feminism, it results in hurting women and in hurting men. And it is hell-bent on destroying marriage and family because they believe it is oppressive. It is this arm of the patriarchy.
Like Leslie Jones said in our previous episode we were talking about it is literal slavery that women have to escape. So yeah, maybe this kind of dysfunction actually is feminism. Everything is feminism and nothing is feminism in 2026 is what I have come to understand. But it is certainly not committing to or respecting your partner. It is also certainly not healthy or mentally stable, I would say, based on my worldview.
But maybe that's just me. Maybe I'm the crazy one. Anyway, if I had to guess though, I would say that the women in these stories, they probably treat their dogs better than their husbands. And if you want to treat your dogs better, then you need Rough Greens. So my good friends over at Rough Greens make supplements designed to help fill the nutritional gaps that most dogs have. Now, while we obviously have been fans of their Vital Smart Greens powder for years, if you know, you know, our dogs have been devouring their new Ruff Chews, which are essentially like chewable vitamins, but for dogs.
They are super easy to give. They're basically like a treat, that's what our dogs think they are, and they are packed with things like probiotics, omega oils, digestive enzymes, and nutrients from fruits and vegetables to help support your dog's overall health. Plus, if you want to take their nutrition to the next level, Ruff Greens also offers that powdered supplement greens powder, that's the Vital Smart powder, that you can sprinkle right on your dog's food.
It is an a really simple way to boost your dog's nutrition, especially if you don't want to change up their food. Now, if you want to try out Ruff Greens for your dogs, go to ruffgreens.com and use promo code Brett, and they will send you a free Vital Smart starter pack so that you can see the difference for yourself. Again, that is ruffgreens.com, promo code Brett at checkout. And while we're on the topic of things that are good for your dogs, obviously, we need to talk about the dog food that we buy for our pack, Sundays for Dogs.
Now, when it comes to your dogs, it always seems like there are so many compromises when it comes to their food. It is either fresh and healthy and raw, or it is easy to store and serve, especially if you have as many dogs as we have. And this is why we love Sundays for Dogs, because starting 10 years ago, after we had a cancer scare with my old Great Pyrenees, Ollie, my mom and I switched all of our dogs to a low-carb raw diet.
But, we literally had to make it ourselves. Like, think a massive meat grinder in my mom's kitchen. We sourced the meat, we ground it, and then we had to find ways to store it in our tiny LA house, our tiny freezer. It was messy, it was gross, but it was worth it. So, now, fast forward many years, Alex and I have a Saint Bernard with allergies and chronic ear infections and yeast infections, and we also have tried literally about every frozen raw food on the market.
And with how much she eats and how clean of a diet she needs, storing and handling all of the food was so hard, but we didn't want to compromise and just go put her on some kibble, which is why we found and love Sundays for Dogs and their air-dried technology. The founder of Sundays for Dogs, a veterinarian and a mom, got tired of seeing the so-called premium dog food brands just be chock-full of fillers and synthetics, so she designed Sundays, which is air-dried real food made in a human food-grade kitchen using the same ingredients and care that you would use to cook for yourself and your whole family.
Every bite of Sundays is clean, it is packed with real meat, fruits, and vegetables. No weird ingredients, no fillers, and compared to kibble or other brands, Sundays invests 50 times more in its ingredients for true premium quality, no cost-cutting. And the best of all, guys, you just scoop and serve. It's dry, no freezer, no thawing, no ooey-gooey blood mess, no prep, no mess. It is just nutrient-rich food that fuels their happiest, healthiest days.
We started buying from Sundays over a year ago before they were working with me, and it has changed the game for our pack of dogs. So, make the switch to Sundays today. Go right now to sundaysfordogs.com/brett50 and get 50% off of your first order, or you can use code brett50 at checkout. Again, that is 50% off your first order when you go to sundaysfoodfordogs.com/brett50 or use code brett50 at checkout. Now, guys, back to not committing to or respecting your partner, the same thing goes for Diana Rossini and Mike Vrabel.
So, if you don't know Diana Rossini, she is an NFL sideline reporter. Mike Vrabel is the head coach for the New England Patriots. So, if you've not heard the story, if you have not been on Rossini-Vrabel TikTok X, I will fill you in. TLDR, they are taking the cuts' advice way too far. So, on Tuesday, Page Six leaked photos of the NFL reporter and the New England Patriots head coach, who are both married, by the way, they are both married, hugging and holding hands, interlocking hands at an exclusive adults-only resort in Sedona, Arizona.
Now, I just want to paint the scene for you. If you guys don't know what Sedona, Arizona is, it is a mountain town in Arizona. It has all of these alleged like energy vortexes, you go for healing. It's very romantic. One of my best friends got married there. The sunsets are striking. Like, this is not like a casual place where you are running into somebody. This is where you go for romance and energy, and that's important to know when you're talking about this story.
Anyway, now, both of these individuals, again, who are both married, have come out to say, "Even though we were at this very romantic place, at this adults-only romantic resort, and we were holding hands, and we were hugging, and we were in the hot tub together, nothing is going on." So, both Rossini and Vrabel insist that they were there with friends. They say that they simply weren't visible in the pictures. Yeah, maybe they were in a different area code.
I don't know. Anyway, a source close to Rossini says that she was staying at the hotel during a hiking trip with two female friends. One of Vrabel's friends told Page Six that they and the coach drove up to Sedona for the day with another pal and that they all drove back to their hotel some 2 hours away after hanging out with Rossini and her gang. First of all, I might add, I don't think that makes the story any better.
Like, why are you without your spouse driving 2 hours from your hotel? Apparently, he was in Arizona in Phoenix where I think in Phoenix scouting ASU. It is already a red flag. It is not made any better that you went out of your way, you drove 2 hours to go swimming with a colleague, a female colleague, your silent. That does not help. Three other eyewitnesses told us that they did not see anybody else with Vrabel and Rossini.
When asked if the Pats coach visited the hotel with a group of friends, one eyewitness said, "No, he was with a girl." And our sequence of photographs taken at various points during the day show only Vrabel and Rossini. Now, here are the photos at long last. So, ladies and gentlemen, just take at these photos. You tell me. Let me know. Sound off in the comments if you would be comfortable with your spouse interlocking fingers, having an interlocking finger moment with another person who they are not married to, who is not you, in front of a beautiful, striking Arizona sunset at an adult only resort while you were not there.
Yeah, could not be me. Red flag, immediate, utterly glaring. Now, that is my response, but hey, again, maybe I'm the crazy one. I bet EJ Dickson from The Cut is absolutely loving this. I bet Nikki Glaser is already sending her boyfriend off to Sedona hoping that he, too, gets spotted with Diana because she needs something to rev up her engine. Sorry, had to. All jokes aside, for people who have been following Diana Rossini, who are big football fans, fans of the NFL, apparently, this is not surprising in the slightest.
Now, as you all know, sports Brett, wearing my sports Brett hat, she only comes out to play every once in a while. I am not a huge NFL fan. I get all my information from Alex, but he He that for people who have followed this story, they are not surprised because back in 2015 when she was still working for ESPN, she apparently broke several huge stories about the Washington Redskins. And at the time, the then wife of the Redskins general manager released a series of tweets alleging that the only reason why Rusini got the scoop and released those stories was because she was sleeping with her husband.
So in one instance, Diana posted the scoop and the wife replied, "I'm pretty sure this info is coming from my husband to his new side chick, Diana. It's confirmed." And then a week later, she tweets at Diana ESPN, "Please tell us how many BJs you had to give to get the story, and did they laugh at you before or after?" I mean, this wife is a stone-cold killer. I do not falter in the slightest. Now anyway, this wife she later deleted her Twitter.
She issued an apology, but an important thing to note is she did not say that what she had said was untrue. She simply apologized for distracting from the game and from the team, and she was going to be putting away her phone. But this story has since followed Diana. And interestingly, since then, since 2015, she has had nothing really nice to say about her husband. In fact, she has gone out of her way to mock him and make fun of him.
Just like think ala Michelle Obama, but NFL style. Just watch. He's getting married to a beautiful actress. Um I'm married to someone average. I don't post a lot about him. If I was married TO SOMEONE BEAUTIFUL, I'D OVER POST, TOO. "I'm married to somebody average" is what she is saying. Now all of this was in the context of talking about Aaron Rodgers, who at the time was engaged to actress Shailene Woodley, and he was posting a lot about her and all of the things.
And apparently, in Diana's mind, the only reason why he was doing that was because his fiance was attractive, not because he loved her and wanted to post her and share her with the world, but because she was attractive and because Diana is not married to an attractive man, she just could not relate and could not do that. I've just absolutely wild. She posted that clip actually on her own X feed, which is brazen. And she said she blames Aaron Rodgers for her potential divorce.
I think you got to blame yourself if that comes. Anyway, what's more, she apparently also goes to parties in Miami and does not tell her husband about them. I do things in Miami I haven't even told my husband because it's just I had that much fun. It was Well, NOT LIKE THAT. OH MY GOD, THE RESPONSE. OH, OH, IT'S LIKE WAIT, I didn't expect we were going to go that far. Like none of us did. The response from that man sitting next to her is the response from the internet being like, "Okay, yeah, maybe you don't do that.
Maybe you don't say that." But apparently that's just who Diana Rusini is. Now, to kind of tie all of this up with a bow, she has also joked on X about needing a boyfriend even though she's married. She's talked about how she and her husband don't text, don't talk, how it's an issue in their marriage. She says that she's just joking about all of it, but in my mind that's just disrespecting your husband publicly, making a mockery of him.
here she is years later canoodling with Mike Vrabel in Sedona, Arizona. But yeah, sure, sure she was just on a girls hiking trip. Now, I do want to provide the caveat and say I know that I just spent a lot of time talking specifically about Diana Rusini, but that is because she has this track record. That is why the internet is pulling all of these clips, but Mike Vrabel, he is just as at fault. He is also a married man.
If tweets come out about him, you know, talking with other women, we will talk about those as well, but they both are at fault. This is disgusting behavior from both of them. But moving on from that, this comment did make me chuckle. Somebody said, "If you're a guy and you're upset about your wife having her hair in a ponytail with her fingers interlocked with the hands of an NFL football coach on a rooftop of an extremely intimate five-star adult-only resort in Sedona, Arizona, you're simply just insecure."
No other comments. Yeah, guys, remember? This is supposed to spice things up. This is the 4:00 p.m. snack time pick-me-up that we all read about in the cut. We should all be very excited for them. Their marriage is like in home we're going to be so spiced up. Okay, yeah. Well, here's the truth bomb. That snack time, those innocent temptations being promoted in the media, they turn into what wrecks your marriage. But again, maybe that's the memo that went out.
Maybe that is actually what they want. Now, to that end, this reminds me of something else that went viral this week. We're just, you know, going to keep this all going. Earlier this week, Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt, that is Chris Pratt's wife, she posted a harmless reel about Chris Pratt. It was a video of him working on a dollhouse out in their yard and she said, "I don't understand the women who say they don't need their husbands, they don't need a man.
I need my husband. Who else would build a dollhouse for our daughters?" Now, first of all, I want to say this is true. Like, the world absolutely needs Chris Pratt. We all need Chris Pratt. But, also what she's saying is absolutely true. Like, I need Alex. I need my husband. I love him. I also want him. I want him and need him. But, some women, as I'm sure you know, completely disagree with that. And they hated her reel.
It was so innocent. It was so pure. It was something that is just sweet. There were all these comments calling her helpless, saying that she was teaching her daughters bad values and she should be a better mom and show them that she could build the dollhouse for them, that they don't need their father to build the dollhouse. Like, what bad dangerous values are you talking about? The fact that their mother loves and respects and publicly showers their father with adoration, relies on their father, the fact that their father in turn respects and loves her.
Oh my lord, how dangerous. We got to put an end to it all. We got to course correct. I mean, it is just so absurd. But, again, it's like, who's surprised based on where our culture is going? Like, I'm sure these are the same people who cheer on Michelle Obama when she sits on her podcast and rips into Barack. Says, "Thank god I didn't have a son because then I would have had a mini Barack." Saying that they, you know, were not in love, that they had such a hard time for years and years on end.
I'm sure they snap and applaud when somebody like freaking Jada Pinkett Smith is also on her podcast saying that Will Smith will never be able to love her the way that she wants to be loved. Talking to Jenna Bush on the Today show saying she's not sure when she will allow Will Smith, her husband, to move back in with her. And people call that empowerment, protecting your peace, all of the empty superficial terms. It's so gross.
None of it is empowering. None of it is positive. It is unhealthy and disgusting. And all of these stories, all these individuals, they just perfectly sum up everything that is wrong with modern dating culture and modern love and how feminism has metastasized in our society. It grew from something that was genuine. It was about equality within the sexes of getting that legalized to now something that disrupts wholesome and good values, that tramples on family and marriage, that tells women who choose a path different from their path that they're wrong, that actually they're oppressed.
I mean, it is so bad. What we saw today is infidelity repackaged as something healthy and resentment and disrespect repackaged as female empowerment. It is nothing to emulate. This is a cancer on our society. >> [music] [music]
