So, guys, after watching everyone in America come together to support Freddy, everybody knows Freddy now, and all of the other World Cup fans that are visiting the United States and falling in love with Taco Bell and Waffle House and Buckee's and the beautiful coast of Alabama that they did not know existed. Like, I went into this weekend hyped. Hyped to be an American living in this amazing country. Hyped about all of the sporting events.

Like, we had the Knicks in five, as they say. They won the NBA finals for the first time in 53 years. The I I know, these are not real Knicks fans, but there were people who destroyed all of New York City. We can talk about that at another time, but there were lots of celebrations. We also had America really putting itself on the map with football, as they call it, beating Paraguay. And then, of course, we had America's UFC-themed 250th birthday celebration to look forward to.

Like, this was a really freaking great weekend to be a sports fan in America. It was just a great weekend to be an American in general. Unless, of course, you have your head STUCK SO FAR UP YOUR ASS THAT YOU cannot even enjoy yourself. And more specifically, I am talking about Jane Fonda, Miss Rachel, and an incredibly off-key activist choir who decided to host counter-programming this weekend with their event, Rise Up and Sing Out, a concert for the First Amendment.

>> Some of these these women, they're so they're so stupid. >> Really ironic that it's for the First Amendment. We know all of these people really, really care about the First Amendment. I don't think they really REMEMBERED THAT THAT WAS an amendment back in 2020. But anyway, you guys are going to want to see this. Now, before we dive into this story, I want to thank you guys so much for being here. Thank you for always subscribing and commenting and liking the videos.

If you want to stay up-to-date on every single thing that we upload, make sure to ring that notification bell. All right, so all of this is just so perfectly ironic to me because for years and years and years, the left was making fun of the political right for building its alternative economy, its alternative marketplace, I guess you would say. Um children's books that do not talk about gay sex, Christian TV shows, like every single Daily Wire business that they tried to start.

And of course, TPUSA's Kid Rock Halftime Show. Like they have been laughing at us for years and years and years. But now, since their side has become largely geriatric, I would say, and have obviously won the culture and unified a lot of people in 2024, suddenly, randomly, out of nowhere, they've decided that maybe, possibly, counter-programming is a winning strategy. Okay, well, maybe not winning, but it's a strategy that they have decided to try and employ.

And I know the people on the right have really gone back and forth, and there hasn't been any kind of consensus on whether this alternative economy was ever really successful, whether it was long-lasting or cool. Like plenty of people thought that the Kid Rock Halftime Show was like weird or cringe or meh, but I think that we should all agree, like we can come together and join hands and agree that this, what happened this past weekend, was just bad.

Like it is so bad that it's kind of good. I went to my pantry hoping to find popcorn to bring to do this episode so that I could really enjoy it with you guys, and we were out. So, I'll make sure I have that for the next time the libs do something so cringe. Anyway, so this performance, again, Rise Up Sing Out, was scheduled to be the alternative to Trump's UFC Fight Night on the White House lawn. So, just so we're all on the same page here, I want you to know, this is what that Trump UFC event ended up looking like.

Like this is possibly one of the most epic photographs I have ever seen. You have the White House in the background, you have the most insane flyover ever. Like this is the kind of flyover that would make the European World Cup fans literally their pants because it's so insane. You have the octagod right in the center, the American flag. It's perfectly in twilight, THE STORMY CLOUDS ARE in the background. I mean, it's just pretty freaking epic.

And there were so many insane moments and insane photographs that are definitely going in the history books. There were huge crowds, there were millions of viewers, and even though the libs were hiring their Etsy witches to curse the event and get it rained out, God said hell no to the witches. And the incoming storm that people were praying would help destroy the event and ruin Trump's birthday and ruin America's 250th birthday, that incoming storm approached Washington D.C.

It perfectly split and it avoided the city, which which gave Trump and the admin and everybody Americans this is not about Trump. This is about America. It gave Americans yet another epic photograph. I mean you have the sunset. You have the rainbow. You have lightning coming out of the rainbow. I mean happy pride, ladies and gentlemen. That should be a metaphor. The crowd in the background, I mean come on. Like it was just remarkable.

So anyway, all of that to say, that is the sheer magnitude of this event. Like objectively, God was involved in this event. But meanwhile, down the road, something even more prolific was happening. Now, before Rise Up Sing Out began, they first held a protest. They held a protest TO SHOW TRUMP AND DANA WHITE WHO IS boss and who they were really putting in cages. Take a look at this. >> Whose street? >> Our street. >> Whose street?

>> Our street. >> Whose street? >> Our street. >> Whose street? >> Our street. >> Whose street? >> Our street. >> D.C. >> Our street. >> Whose street? >> Our street. >> Whose street? >> Our street. >> I MEAN GOD, IT'S ALL OLD PEOPLE. IT'S SUCH A JOKE and it's one of my favorite things to laugh about, but it's not a joke because that's the reality. They are all geriatric. Like somebody go get your grandparents, teach them mahjong, anything, bridge, something.

They need a hobby other than this, is all I'm saying. But my point of bringing all of this up, obviously, and comparing it to those photographs from Fight Night, like I mean God splitting the storm, rainbows and lightnings, geriatric people holding DIY cages. Oh, oh, >> [crying] >> which one is cooler? I mean, it is just a toss-up. I'm really going to I'm going to have to stew on that one and get back to you. Anyway, from there, after they finished marching through the streets to really Oh, stick it to Fight Night, the show began.

And let me tell you, my friends, there was a lot of singing. >> [music] >> No one is getting left behind this time. No one is getting left behind. Not this time. No one is getting left behind this time. How do we get there? Together or never. Get up. >> Not this time. Not this time. He's like pulling out the musical instruments from a baby music class. And like, it's not even just that they're performing, it's it's geriatric liberal karaoke.

I mean, like it's like somebody stuck a fork in my eyes and ears combined and then set me on fire. That's how I feel. I mean, guys, that is like when you agree to go see the neighbor's kid in their community theater production of Little Shop of Horrors and yet you're sitting there with your cheap popcorn, your $5 ticket and you're realizing that the singing is actually the shop of horrors. But, you know what? Like, listen, I I should not mock this event because that choir, the activist choir, was really not showing up.

But, there were some heavy hitters in the event like Broadway titan, multi-Grammy Award-winning, multi-Tony Award-winning Bette Midler was performing. And it was something. Just watch. >> All you fascists bound [music] to lose. You're bound to lose. [singing] You fascists bound to lose. Hey there, all you fascists. [music] Let me put you straight. When you come for the rest of us, we'll fight you at the gate and you will lose.

You fascists bound to lose. >> You fascists bound to lose. We're going to fight. Like okay, I'm sorry Bette Midler. I think your character in Hocus Pocus was more intimidating than that. So, sorry to let you know and that is unfortunate for your cause but that is simply a fact. Someone commented and said "Tomorrow morning I'm going to update my living will. I'll include this video and add a clear directive stating that if I ever begin exhibiting this type of behavior or mental decline, I do not want my life prolonged another day."

True that. Now, I will say for our ears, I'm happy to inform us all that it was not just singing. Thank God. There were also lectures and I truly felt like I was back in 2020 because there sure were a lot of black people on stage reminding us how oppressed they and their counterparts truly are. And don't worry, they were angry. >> And there is a kind of bone-tired exhaustion in fighting the battles that we have fought so many times before.

In insisting time and time again, generation after generation that people have the right to exist even if they speak out against the state. >> show if you lower our flags, we will raise them back up, baby. >> Yes, honey. >> You can paint over our rainbows, but we'll paint it even brighter one to LEAD THE WAY. >> [screaming] >> SORRY, HAD TO. >> THEY WANT us afraid. Trump wants us to shrink when he calls us crooked, stupid, piggy and when he screams in the faces of women journalists.

>> Oh yeah, he wants you very afraid. So, I'm so glad you guys brought out the big guns to really push back against him, which obviously is Miss Rachel in her quintessential Miss Rachel overalls. So, I'm sorry to say guys, again, this is unfortunate for your cause, but I really don't think this riled anybody up or moved the needle for you in the slightest. I mean, people online saw those clips and they just winced. Even people on your own side.

They honestly looked like me every time I hit a curb, which is why I need Inflate IQ. Now, guys, I have to be honest with you, I love a curb. My tires know it, my husband knows it. Honestly, Nashville at large knows it. It is why I drive a large car that is off the ground. So, when I say that my family needs Inflate IQ, I mean that. Now, Inflate IQ is a smart portable tire inflator that fits right in your glove box.

You set the PSI, press a button, and it automatically stops when it hits the right pressure. It works on cars, trucks, trailers, bikes, farm vehicles, all the things. No guessing, no overfilling, no more digging through your purse for quarters just to use that and maybe working air pump at the gas station. Inflate IQ fills tires twice as fast. It does not overheat, and it comes with a lifetime warranty. And it is so easy to use that I keep one in my own car.

And you know who else should have one on hand? Your dad, obviously. It is the perfect Father's Day present. So, right now for Father's Day, the first 500 orders will get 40% off, making it just $77.99 to get that Inflate IQ with free shipping. And yes, obviously, this makes the perfect Father's Day present, but buy one for yourself, too, because you never know when you're going to need it. So, the next time that you have a flat tire, you can handle it yourself and save the call to dad for something that actually requires his advice.

Head on over to myinflator.com and solidify your position as the favorite child. Again, that is myinflator.com and hit those curves with confidence. Now, it is also the perfect gift to give to a college student, hopefully one that is attending Grand Canyon University. Now, a worthwhile college degree it does not have to be expensive when you attend GCU in the beautiful Phoenix, Arizona. Now, GCU is genuinely different, and that is why I keep working with them and I keep talking about them.

And you guys might not know this, but GCU has frozen their tuition cost since 2009. That is not a typo. I literally thought it was like a crazy exaggeration when I first read this because while every other university has been hiking their costs year after year, GCU decided that they were going to make affordability a foundation of the school. And add in a GCU funded scholarships, the average student this year is only paying around $8,900 for a private Christian university, which is so remarkable.

But so is the education. With hybrid, online, and in-person classes, GCU offers over 380 academic pathways and they are all built for the real world. Plus, 90% of GCU students reported that their faith deepened in college. So it is no wonder that while so many colleges are bleeding money and going under because obviously they are exploiting students, we all know that, GCU was one of the fastest growing universities in the country.

It is private, it's Christian, it's affordable, and it is non-profit. So take action and find your purpose today at gcu.edu. Again, that is gcu.edu to learn more. Now, in contrast to what was happening at the Rise Up Speak Out Theater, Trump's event actually brought a semblance of unity, which I have to say actually did shock me because I was not expecting this at all. And unfortunately these days, I am just so used to anything that is even remotely politically affiliated just becoming angry and hostile, especially the moment that Trump puts his, you know, Trump hands on it, his stamp of approval.

Thanks to Trump Derangement Syndrome, like everybody wants to hate everything that he touches. And so I kind of expected that that was going to be the situation here. And to be fair, you know, some of that did happen. Like the New York Times wrote an article immediately after. They said that the fight had explosions of casual cruelty. Oh my god, New York Times, that's groundbreaking journalism. IT WAS A FIGHT. IT WAS a UFC fight.

So yeah, there's going to be casual cruelty. And then, yes, of course, some people did break down crying on Tik Tok just like this. >> [bell] >> I don't care if you're a Democrat or a Republican. I don't care if you're right or left. I don't care about any of that If you think anything about this is cool or American or manly, I have to assume that much like anybody associated with the planning and the production of this event, all of the sponsors of this event, matter of fact, anybody that's even remotely associated with this event, much like all of them, you are so slow I could time you with a calendar.

Nothing about this is cool. Well, you just don't like it cuz you're a liberal and liberal men aren't masculine. Listen here, bag. I lift every day. I've done boxing and jujitsu on and off for years and I used to watch the UFC pretty religiously until I realized that 90% of the fighters and a good chunk of the fans are racist, rapist, woman beaters or right-wing bags. So then I stopped. >> so you enjoyed the UFC until you got cucked.

That's essentially what you're saying there, Mr. Ooh. Making the face that looks like my son right before he takes a big Uh now, first comment, sorry. It's just true it's true. It's true. First comment I saw, just have to read this. Uh this guy said somebody should tell him that that one hot liberal barista at Starbucks isn't going to F him. Took the words out of my mouth. Anyway, moving on from that, I just wanted to show that to you as an example that yes, there was some outrage.

So obviously, yes, those people do exist. It was still a highly partisan event because Trump was organizing it. He was there. It was his 80th birthday, but what happily surprised me was how many people, how many non-Trump fans were still willing to even admit that all of the Trump things aside, it was cool. It was pretty epic. It was a cool thing for a 250th America-sized celebration. Like Anomaly, who is a big political commentator, definitely very critical of Trump these days, he tweeted and said the White House UFC event was incredible.

The production was top tier. The fights were awesome and the intro walkouts were really cool. Politics aside, it's a pretty cool story how Trump was one one first ones who believed in Dana White and the UFC. Now, years later they put on a great show on the world's biggest stage. We can get back to complaining about politics tomorrow, but as a fight fan and an American, I enjoyed today's show. And I just love him for that.

Like I just I genuinely enjoy Anomaly's content. You know, he's serious when he needs to be. He's critical about the things that he really believes in, but he is also a humble and normal enough to be able to sit back and enjoy things like this. He has a great sense of humor, so I just appreciated that. Um somebody else tweeted in said they can say whatever, but Donald Trump knows how to put on a show. And that that's a fact.

The man is an entertainer through and through. Like we should have known this was going to be an absolute knockout. This UFC event at the White House was just spectacular celebrating 250 years. And then here's another one, I'll be it less positive, but again I just want to prove a point here. He was writing this about the epic stage and the flyover, all the photos. He said, "I don't give an F about this and I actually think it's kind of cool.

I think the UFC fight is a little bit tacky, but I wouldn't really have a problem with it if it weren't so effing corrupt and a thinly veiled birthday party for Trump disguised as a flag day celebration." I also don't really care if Trump wants to have an 80th birthday party at his house that he lives in because he won an election. If he wants to merge it with 250 years of America, I don't like I really don't care. We aren't paying for it, which we'll talk about later, but don't really care.

And then there was this post. This guy said, "Interestingly, by all accounts, including those of liberals and critics, Trump's UFC event on the White House lawn was a success. Even the most distant liberals can see that the event went smoothly for Trump, although lamenting that it ultimately adds political points to him." And to this man's argument, even CNN had to admit that it was pretty flipping cool. >> I mean, having been here all weekend and talking to people from the Lincoln Memorial on Friday night where they had the ceremonial press conference.

I was here at the ellipse last night. There was a ceremonial weigh-in. And of course tonight we're going to have the the big fight. It's been a very surreal weekend here in Washington D.C. I mean, you know, this this feels like a UFC event, right? And nobody here is really talking [music] politics. Very few MAGA hats, even. This does not feel like a political event. It might feel like it a little differently in at the VIP zone, where you I'm sure we'll have a lot of MAGA personalities and things.

But in terms of, you know, people watching at home, and many people think it's disgraceful for all of this to be happening in Washington, D.C. Uh for the fans of the UFC, they are absolutely delighted. This is a dream come true for them. >> They're delighted. It's a dream come true. It feels surreal. There are very few MAGA hats. And on a personal level, just hearing him say all of that was really joyful for me, because I think doing the job that I do and spending so much time on X and on TikTok and being part of this like right-wing ecosystem, which I definitely have tried to spend less time in, because it can be very depressing as of late, but it is very easy to assume the worst about your fellow man and about our neighbors, the people that we live amongst, people who vote differently.

And obviously, there are a lot of crazy people, and it's important that we talk about that. There is a lot of vitriol, there is a lot of violence, but I think there also are a lot of really normal Americans who are still willing to put politics aside to be unified over a great patriotic amazing sporting event. I think that we've seen that with the World Cup, guys. I think we've seen that with the Knicks. That felt like a very unifying moment for a city and people all around the world just watching that happen.

Um and I think that we're seeing it with this. So, that's just a positive thing. Again, again, I just was not expecting it. Like, truth be told, I was genuinely ambivalent about the entire thing. I expected more backlash from Trump. I wasn't particularly like pumped about the event, but I also wasn't angry. I wasn't like, "Why are we spending time doing this? We need to do XYZ." Like, it just simply was not an event for me.

It was not my thing. What I do like is that Dana White and the UFC hosted and paid for it the entire thing. They literally said it was so expensive, they will never do it again. He was like, "This is great. Never happening again." So, it was not some, you know, huge waste of taxpayer dollars. Although, ironically, I do think I think to say that internet detractors kind of like that guy who was tweeting being like, "Oh, I guess it was cool."

Like, they have nitpicked that it was so corporate that UFC was involved, that Dana White and Trump are in cahoots with their business, that Mark Zuckerberg was there, and Paramount was involved, and it's owned by a FRIEND OF TRUMP'S. BUT, OF COURSE, if this was a totally public sector event, if the private sector was not involved, they would be screeching about how partisan it was and all the government phones. So, I feel like in that sense you just can't win with those people.

And then, the other thing I will say is to the other critics who suddenly care about preserving the integrity of the White House and the White House lawn. Like, I THINK IT'S ALSO IMPORTANT TO ACKNOWLEDGE that previous presidents have their own parties and events. And literally, 4 years ago, we had topless on the White House lawns. SO, I REALLY DON'T THINK THIS this event is something to get our panties in a bunch about.

Like, Bonchie tweeted and said, "You might not like the UFC thing at the White House, but the moment you hung a giant pride flag on the columns and had a half-naked trans activist exposing themselves on the lawn, you lost all right to complain about desecration." And he is not wrong. And also, I think it's important to note that Trump is far from the first president to do something like this. You could even argue that this is a full-circle moment.

Because, something that I learned this weekend is that back in 1801, Thomas Jefferson was the first American president to spend a 4th of July Independence Day in the White House. And he threw a massive celebration. He was like, "We are, you know, this is the people's house. We want to celebrate this amazing day, make it a big celebration where we invite everybody here, throw this huge party." He had military bands, he had parades, he had horse races, and even cockfights on the North Lawn.

Now, in another vein, there have also been huge concerts and events at the White House. Like, Jimmy Carter had Willie Nelson perform for his wife, threw a huge party. Nixon invited country stars like Johnny Cash and so many other performers. Obama had huge concerts at the White House. He literally had like Usher performing. So, it's not like the White House lawn is this sacred place where every little blade of grass must be preserved for the most dignified OF DIGNIFIED EVENTS.

LIKE THAT SHIP SAILED literally back in 1801 when Thomas Jefferson decided to have cockfights in that same grass. So, if it is not your thing, like maybe you're like, "Ah, I don't really know." That's fine. But let's also not pretend like Trump is doing something so inappropriate and so off-color. What was actually off was the singing at the Rise Up Sing Out concert. And so thankfully, while Dana White was unifying many Americans with boiling patriotism and blood sports, the libs were unifying people through extreme cringe.

And I guess that that too is something to be thankful for.
